UC Scholarships & Grants Application
The University of Charleston prides itself in providing in-seat bachelor degree students with merit and need - based institutional aid to make their education
more affordable and accessible. In addition to the
tuition and room and board scholarships
incoming students are awarded by virtue of their high school or
college GPA, UC offers
additional scholarships
in recognition of student achievement and potential. Students wishing to be considered for additional
UC scholarships
and grants must complete this application for consideration. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and will continue as long as funding permits.
- Students must be admitted to an in-seat, 4-year program at UC to be considered for additional scholarships. Online, hybrid, associate, and graduate degree students are not eligible for these scholarship awards.
- Letter of recommendation: Please have a teacher, counselor, coach, or other mentor write a letter that speaks to your character, integrity, and leadership. They should email this letter to scholarships@ucwv.edu.
- UC must have your current transcript (unofficial is acceptable) and your 2023-24 FAFSA on file to complete your scholarship application.
